  • “Taming the Tiger” by Tony Anthony.  Having being urged by my mom and my aunt to go for Sunday church service to listen to this guy talk, well, i’m actually glad i did go.  Though Shawn and I came to a conclusion then he was a little exaggerating on certain parts.  Anyway a little background on him.  Raised in China, Tony was trained in the way of Kung Fu from a tender age.  He went on to become a 3 time World Champion, a Master of the art and a highly proficient combat fighter.  In his early twenties, Tony worked as an elite body guard, travelling the world to protect some of the world’s richest and most powerful people.  When tragedy struck in his person life where his fiancee died in a car accident, he fell into sinister circles and was ultimately incarcerated in a Cypriot prison.  A then violent and bloodthirsty man, Tony found his anger beginning to dissipate as his priorities shifted and his life took a massive turn through talks that he had with a stranger who frequently visited him. And slowly, he came to know christ as he believed he could be set free from his sins.  It was a touching story indeed, which true life story isn’t anyway?  I do believe God does wonders in many different ways, and i do believe he exists, but sth is holding me back, somehow i feel that i’m not ready to commit..

Anyway, went for thai lunch after visiting my dad at hospital today.  He’s much better, moved him from the dependency ward down to the general ward, which is a good thing.  He’ll be going for a liver scan and a scope tomorrow, so cross my fingers everything will be fine~  It was a scrumptious thai lunch at novena square, boy i satisfied my cravings for pad thai.  But i still miss sydney’s thai food and korean food!! GAWD~!~

Did u guys go for the IT fair at Suntec?  Freakin doodah crowded lah!! WHAT THE HELL LAH.  Practically human traffic jam, things were going at cheap cheap cheap price lah.  But i restricted myself from buying anything, since i’m not working now right.  Dun wanna use parent’s money anymore though.  So tempted to get a new laptop lah, since my laptop’s age is equivalent to that of a grandpa now., but i controlled myself, and told myself to get it next year when i have $.  Haha.. my aunt got an acer new laptop for less than $1000, and my bro got a new desktop.  And the new cybershot 8.1 mega pixel for just $499… !!! Holly Mama…

I have decided to go on a fruit detoxification diet.  Think i have too much fats clogging in my system liao… ARGH~!~  BanKAI~
