  • I better blog when i'm in the mood to!

Ok, i think i've been out for more than 12 hours now but because i just showered, i'm pretty much awake so i just thought i'll just do an update.  Ok here goes.

ah joy went to do her hair today!!! *jang jang*  I went out at 11.15am for a 12pm hair appointment at queensway shopping centre, nonetheless i was late OF course~  But it's ok lah, since i'm customer right?  Purpose:  Hair extensions!  Recommended by CL, cause she said the woman doing it was really good because she doesn't rush things, so she does every strand slow and precise = good for me lah!  It's amazing to see her clip those strands of rebonded hair onto my short ugly shitty hair and before i know it, all right, it's about 1.5 hrs later lah, i became goldilocks lah!  I swear i never had such long hair before, and it kinda feels weird and heavy at the same time.  Then, i had to go cut and dye my hair so that my real hair will blend in together with the extensions nicely.  As there weren't any nice hairdressers at queensway, i decided to come back to AMK to do it.  Another 1+ hour gone.  Basically i only finished doing my hair at about 6.30pm.  Yes.. from 12 - 6.30pm???  Throw in the travelling time as well lah.  Then it's the trio's dinner date!  FINALLY.. after such a long time.

My new hair, what dya think?

Had steamboat at bugis, sat from like 8.40 all the way to 11pm lah.  Countless stuff to talk about, u know how gossippy girls can get.  LOL*  And we ate like gluttons i swear!  Shit, as i'm typing now i feel like my tummy's gonna explode.  And did i mentioned we had supper like 1+am?  Hahaha.. U 2 girls ar... Once in a while only ok!!!  So we decided to go have a walk after dinner since we were really bloated and guess who did we see?

    ALAN LAW!

*see ghost lah! Pls read this in hokkien.. Then got more (feeling ar)*

Somebody says he's still as ugly.  I'm typing this here because i know he doesn't read my blog!  HAHAHAHA.. But heart more important right, despite the looks.  OMG~  I love u alan, dun kill me!!

Then we decided to go Mustafa Shopping Centre cause it's open 24/7!!  Good place, everything in one.  Damn convenient lah, but got strong indian smell on certain levels.  Sorry to be racist.. but i really hate the smell!!!  I really wanna put up the photos of those 2 aunties shopping but i reckon it would be kinda ugly, so i'll just reserve them in my comp and luff at them myself!

We're like bloody tourists wanting to take photo lah!  But i'm glad we did, cause i actually dun have any photos with "Mustafa Shopping Centre" as the background.  CL wanted to use her camera to take the background as well but fail lah!  LOL*  We promised to be each other's kai ma to whoever's children in future, yes shuqi, i never forget u, u're going to be my kid's kai ma too ya!  So then our children will have loads of 'mothers' to dote on them.. SO lucky!!!

All right, stopping here, tired tired tired liao.

    Cheers~

    *Praying hard for joelle*

    Amen.

  • Home Sweet Home!!

Home!!! Finally~!~, only to find so many stupid rain flies flocking around my light.  EEEEEEeeeee, super gurlieee lah.  Feel so itchy all over, think it's going to rain tomorrow.  But then again, i'm already staying on the 15th floor lah, how the hell did they manage to fly up so high?  And knowing how much i hate them, i kill every single one i see, i'm sorry but this is what i must do.  Rest in peace ok?

Back to KL, hmm.. the living conditions in K-L-A-N-G was unbearable!! Even worse than going back to my kampong Tokai!  I almost fainted when i arrived at the hotel lah, when i opened the door to the toilet, i just wanted to kill myself.  I don't think i have ever lived in such a bad place, ok, not counting the one at the backpackers hotel in Cairns, but hell, why the hell did we have to tolerate with this nonsense when i had a nice aunty's place in KL?  Sob.. Ok, i shall not complain, because our priority was the wedding, and hey, i did had great time taking photos and eating fatty food!!  Shit, my exercise has all gone down the drain.  +_+

Well, it was a really good bonding sessions with my paternal side cousins because this time the entire gin gang came, unlike Chinese New Year where only 3 families made it back.  I actually arrived in KL on Friday night, together with my brother, and we stayed over at Pao's place for a night.  They were really nice, we arrived like 12.30am at night, and they actually went to pick us up from KL central for supper before we headed home.  The next day was spent shopping at Mega Mall and i bought unnecessary stuff again, heehee more bags bags bags!  I lurvve bags and shoes, didn't get clothes this time round.  But u know, i have sorted out my thoughts, i really should stop spending this money on things i don't really need and instead, should start to save alot of money from now on.  Look at my cousin, they met for 6 years, and 2 years ago, they already booked the restaurant they were going to hold their wedding dinner at!!  2 years ago lah.. and what the hell am i doing here, spending every single cent i earned~  I ought to be ashamed of myself!!  (heehee, i think i'm just going to rant but i might not be able to change my shopping habits)  Anyway, i will try my best!  Gambatte Joyce!

Ok back to after shopping, me and bro had to go down to Klang for the family buffet.  Then Sunday we had the tea ceremony in the afternoon, and finally the wedding dinner at night!  The bride was gorgeous!  I can only say, make up can do wonders.  Her gowns were dazzling, had the white wedding gown on when she was at the tea ceremony and when she was walking in for the wedding dinner, and had another velvet one on when the first dish was served.  They put clips of their friends, talking about how they met each other, and they put photos of them when they were young till they pak-torred and got married.  Awww.. everything's like so magical and really touching.  But the highlight was actually the suckling pig because it was SOO delicious lah, damn oily at the same time..  Oh and they had like 60 over tables filled with people lah!! That's like .. 600 ppl??  OMG, i doubt i will even have 10???? LOL*..

Well, welcome you into our family Esther!  Have a very blissful marriage and 早生贵子!!

  • Cheers~

Met up with my primary school friend today, also my longest ever friend up till now, let me present you, L.Y.L~  I was just counting the number of years we have known each other.. Ok.. PY9 to now.. let's see.  PY9 = 6 years old.  Now = 23 years old.  So... we have known each other for... *drum rolls* 17 years??!?!!???!?!?  HOLY MAMA...  we're going to reach the 20 years mark, gambateh.  Cheers to ever lasting friendship my dear!!  We had thai food.. (yes again i know, but who can resist thai food!! I lurve it~  Don't ya agree, Phyllis?? Hahahaha)  and this time, we ate damn alot lah.  Shit.  2 people ate 5 dishes.. there's goes my hardwork of jogging.  That's even worse than eating MacD.  And the table beside us, these 3 girls, shared just one bowl of bloody beef kuay tiao lah.  WTH?  I bet we're the greediest and the loudest table there... u know how loud i luff one lah...  Anyway, let me present Y.L!

Also met up with SF 2 days back, and thanks for spending the night with me, helping me choose a dress for my cousin's wedding!!  Hopefully i slim down just enough for to look good.  And i gotta take good care of my complexion already, that stupid 2 pimples underneath my nose is taking forever to heal.!!.  And SF!! Good news, i have patched up with my bro already~  After donkey years of cold war.  Thank god, and thanks for comforting me that day.

Doing temp now at a company called Informa.  Really boring.. really data entry lah.. Good thing is, only 3 days a week~ Yippee.  Yesterday was my first day of work, and the whole day i was inputting evaluation forms data into the comp.  That's it.  I was calculating.. the pay i work 3 days a week for this job = the work like a horse at deloitte during my internship.  But cannot compare, because i gained valuable insights as an auditor.  My dad was kinda pissed i accepted this data entry job, he claims it as 大材小用, but i thought otherwise because i really have nothing to do at home during this month before i return to syd for my convo.  Might as well earn some spare cash right?

Can't wait to watch Leap Years on Monday with darling C.L~  Seeee ya soon lo!

  • Happy HappY~

    Yippee.. papa's discharged!

He has been a really good boy, never touch his laptop, and he's on really strict diet, all under the supervision of my mama.

Going to watch Rule #1 today! Haven seen a movie in donkey years lah~!~

    ah joy is happy!

Happy Birthday to Pao Pao Ee Ee and Aunty Irene lo!

  • "Taming the Tiger" by Tony Anthony.  Having being urged by my mom and my aunt to go for Sunday church service to listen to this guy talk, well, i'm actually glad i did go.  Though Shawn and I came to a conclusion then he was a little exaggerating on certain parts.  Anyway a little background on him.  Raised in China, Tony was trained in the way of Kung Fu from a tender age.  He went on to become a 3 time World Champion, a Master of the art and a highly proficient combat fighter.  In his early twenties, Tony worked as an elite body guard, travelling the world to protect some of the world's richest and most powerful people.  When tragedy struck in his person life where his fiancee died in a car accident, he fell into sinister circles and was ultimately incarcerated in a Cypriot prison.  A then violent and bloodthirsty man, Tony found his anger beginning to dissipate as his priorities shifted and his life took a massive turn through talks that he had with a stranger who frequently visited him. And slowly, he came to know christ as he believed he could be set free from his sins.  It was a touching story indeed, which true life story isn't anyway?  I do believe God does wonders in many different ways, and i do believe he exists, but sth is holding me back, somehow i feel that i'm not ready to commit..

Anyway, went for thai lunch after visiting my dad at hospital today.  He's much better, moved him from the dependency ward down to the general ward, which is a good thing.  He'll be going for a liver scan and a scope tomorrow, so cross my fingers everything will be fine~  It was a scrumptious thai lunch at novena square, boy i satisfied my cravings for pad thai.  But i still miss sydney's thai food and korean food!! GAWD~!~

Did u guys go for the IT fair at Suntec?  Freakin doodah crowded lah!! WHAT THE HELL LAH.  Practically human traffic jam, things were going at cheap cheap cheap price lah.  But i restricted myself from buying anything, since i'm not working now right.  Dun wanna use parent's money anymore though.  So tempted to get a new laptop lah, since my laptop's age is equivalent to that of a grandpa now., but i controlled myself, and told myself to get it next year when i have $.  Haha.. my aunt got an acer new laptop for less than $1000, and my bro got a new desktop.  And the new cybershot 8.1 mega pixel for just $499... !!! Holly Mama...

I have decided to go on a fruit detoxification diet.  Think i have too much fats clogging in my system liao... ARGH~!~  BanKAI~

  • Just wanna pray that my daddy will be fine.

    Amen.

  • I'm starting to feel the pressure imposed on me by my family.

Why do they always impose their will on others, shouldn't it be a voluntary thing, shouldn't we have freedom of choice on what we wanna do?

I'm starting to dislike what i see and hear.

Nobody to divert the attention away.. nobody to shield me..

I just wanna be left alone.. ok..?

  • BLOODY SHIT

    BLOODY WARREN~@~~

How can you be so heartless!!???!!!!

My heart cries out for you my aunty.. don't worry, he will get his just deserts.

    Idiot piece of shit!!

    I'm fuckin pissed now.

    BLOODY ASSHOLE~!~!~!~~!!!!

  • J.B

I had a two day one night trip with bby to J.B!  Well, not so much of a vacation, just wanted to spend some alone time together since he's leaving on thurs.. Sob.. I'm really sad you know.

Anyway, with much anticipation already on Sunday, i can't wait to embark on our trip to J.B!  To think i was so worried we would hop onto the wrong SBS bus, or alight at the wrong station and miss the checkpoints.. Now all i can say is, going to J.B is nearer than going to Tampines lah!

I met bby at AMK station first where we took the mrt to Woodlands Station, thereafter bus #950.  Apparently there are 3 buses going into J.B, 950, 160 and 170.  Anywayx, we hopped onto 950 and within 10 min, we were at the woodlands checkpoint.  Alls well, we crossed the Singapore immigration and headed down to board any bus going into Malaysia checkpoint.  Another 5 min on the bus and we're on the J.B side already lah.  How do i know that?  Because my phone couldn't receive any more reception plus u can just see the contrast in the infrastructure.  *oops*  So there we were, 20 min altogether from woodlands interchange to jb.  No queue at all lah, just alot of maselamat photos ard.  Once out of JB checkpoint, tons of taxi drivers approached us asking whether we needed a taxi.  But we didn't! Cause our destination was City Square.  Accor. to CY, just walk straight from the malaysian checkpt and we'll reach City Square.  No doubt about that, it's that easy lah, and i didn't know i was in city square until i saw a dustbin with a city square sticker pasted on it.  How dumb can i get.

Ok, so we got to the shopping centre we wanted.  Then we needed to find our accommodation.  What we had in mind was the best hotel in the vicinity.  So we searched for the tallest and most prestigious one which happened to be sth Pacific Hotel and then we approached the counter.  "Do u have any reservations?", well no because we thought it shouldn't be a prob looking for a hotel since it's off-peak season.  "Sorry we're fully booked." Stunned!!  So we walked around for almost an hour looking for another good quality hotel but to our disappointment, there were NONE!  By then i was feeling so exhausted and i'm freakin pissed with JB!! SHIT!

I swear if i had joined amazing race with bby, we would have been out the first round.  (Because of me lah of course) SO.. Cheryl, i totally support u in amazing race! Go for it.

Anyway, after rackeeing the vicinity, we ended up in a 2 star hotel costing RM138 a night.  J.B Central Hotel.  *if dun hiam is livable one lah*  All i can say is that it was comforting that we were going to be out shopping the whole day.  Haha.

So then!  S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G Spree for the both of us.  I'm glad bby bought many stuff cause he's not much of a shopper, but this time, it was a fruitful experience for him.. Then we bought our pirated dvds, how can we miss those right, and went for a sports massage at a thai massage parlour.  That woman massaged my back so hard i had to ask bby to soh soh it at night lah.  Then at night we went to taman sentosa for nice hawker food at a pretty big hawker centre.

One thing good about the trip was that when we headed back to Singapore, the hotel we were staying in was just a road away from the checkpt!  Gawd, so we just crossed the road and we have reached the checkpt liao.  Within 20 min we were back in sg again.  It's damn convenient lah, i'm so surprised!  *I know i'm sua kuu*, and the bus trip just cost $1.30.  Can use EZ-link card lah.  When i was at the SG checkpt, i was so scared they would stop me because of my pirated dvds lah!!  My heart beat so fast ya know.  But nth happened, i think they close one eye lah, which is good!!

Can't wait to go J.B again shopping, cheap cheap cheap!

That's it for now!! So sleepy liao..

    Night night everybody~

  • shit~

First i left the original copy of audit confirmation at the client's place, then I left my keys in deloitte's toilet.. What is wrong with me!!!!!?????!!!!!!

i have a bird brain... sob...

pray that some kind soul would have picked it up and pass it on to the receptionist... *prays hard*
