Ooooo my oh so cute darling nephew~  his name is bo qian, really really adorable, and he has long eye lashes that curls!!

I made him do this pose for me, handsome eh~

Mommy and the kids.  She had to take like umpteen shots before this perfect one came along.  U know how babies like to fidget around.

Which got me comparing how different kids from kampong and kids from the city are.  A very simple example would be my cousin's kids.  These 2 down here, are from my paternal side cousin.  I don't know if it's because of the upbringing or what, but they get along really well with 'strangers'.  Parents are really chin chai, let them run around the house, and if they trip and fall, they'll be like, get up don't cry...  On the other hand, my maternal side cousin, who also has 2 kids, is totally different.  Very spoilt, parents very protective over them, gives them plenty of attention.  Which makes us difficult to play with them cause they don't like strangers.  LOL*  So that got me thinking on how i should bring up my kids in future.. oops, not to be mean to my maternal side cousin or what, but please, stop spoiling them lah!

Valentine's Day was great.  I had a pleasant surprise from him that was really unexpected!  Thank you bby, and i shall stop calling u a boring old man.. But then again, if i didn't do that in the beginning, would u have done what you did that night? Heehee..

Internship's ending in 10 days, and whaddya know, I CAN'T WAIT!

Watched amazing race asia today, oh my god, the Phillipino team is damn cute lah... Makes me wanna go to Phillipines, but then again it's really hectic now due to the demonstrations against President Arroyo.  Let me show you their pictures.

    Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez

Ooooo so charming!!  But of course, the proud winners of amazing race asia season 2 is from Singapore!! YOOHOOOOO, congrats congrats!!

Okok, almost 10pm, going to watch The Queen on central, see ya later~

Chinese New Year is coming!~! Am supposed to work half day on that day but i had to take leave 'cause i have to go back to tokai for family reunion this year~  Haven't seen my paternal relatives since forever~ must go back this time round or else they won't be able to recognize me anymore!  The disappointing thing is not all of my relatives are returning this year, even my brother's not going back due to work committments,  but anyway, i think i'll get to meet all of them during tongyu's wedding at the end of march.

Had a great day with bby today.  He came over and we spent the whole day nua-ing, just like aussie days.  We watched amazing race, followed by a 2 hr nap (yes we are pigs), then we watched Alvin & the Chipmunks the movie --> He d/l it, super good quality though, and it's a really good movie!  And then i realized how fat i am again, and i decided to climb 15 stories up when i sent him down earlier on.  No joke man, it's quite tiring!  But i'm thinking if i really do this everyday, i think can lose some love handles gua?  I need to slim down by TY's wedding + my graduation.. !!! Argh~ stressed..

Anyway, have a very prosperous year of the rat and gong xi fa cai to everybody.  Really must fa cai man, i need $$$ desperately!! pooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor.

  • Feeling really lazy now... Mom's terrorizing the tv watching the korean serials she borrowed from her friend.  So either we watch it with her, or we get lost.  My dad has obediently went into his study room but i refuse to budge from the sofas because my room is freakin hot.  It has been a month since i came back, can't believe i haven't met up with WL and CL.  Everyday after i return from work, i'm almost half-dead.  Shower, eat and sleep.  Monotonous lifestyle, although i get to learn things that i didn't actually understand in school.  But is this the life i want?  What do i actually want?  I feel like i'm at a standpoint sometimes, no aim in my life...  Enlighten me oh wise one~ guide me so that i have the motivation to go ahead. Sigh...

  • Happy New Year 2008

A very happy new year to all of you folks out there.  May this year be a prosperous and fruitful year for everybody.  To those who would be graduating this year, all the best, and to those who just stepped into working life like mua, good luck lah, no more mama, papa's sponsorship already, more responsibilities --> always = need more $$!!

Ok, sad to say, i spent my new year countdown in dreamland lah.  But there's nothing wasted about it cause i feel super energized when i woke up today.  Yep, you heard me right, no chionging, no drinking, and no bby even.  Just blessful wishes from my loved ones, thank you all for the lovely smses and phonecalls, we must meet up soon ok, although i'm staying all the way in AMK.  PLS MEET ME~

    All rightie, updates about me.

Have been working in Deloitte for about a week now.  Haven't actually done anything intensive yet, the past 4 days was basically on-job training cum orientation, but i'm already assigned work for the rest of my weeks there, so i'm kinda looking forward to meeting clients together with my senior.. *cross my fingers*  One thing worth mentioning is the audit program they are using, really useful and efficient lah.  But then again, let's see how it works when i really input client's files in.  Met a few other interns like me, and they all come from ACCA - really nice people, and funny, and one reminds me of YZ lah.  Gawd, that same ah beng way of speaking as well as the hand gestures.. and he's damn mean lah, call me 'kantang' because i studied in aussie. Anyway, i heard audit can be really taxing, but i hope i can learn as many things as possible in my 2 months of internship here.

Oh, some photos taken at the bbq organized by SQ's boyfriend.
YES!! FINALLY we have some photos together.  Get them from me ok~

  • Officially starting my internship tomorrow!!

    Wish me luck..

    Going to Zzzz now.. Adious.

PS: Thanks for coming down to SG for christmas, i'm going to miss you alot alot!  Study hard LOR! *u know who u are*

PSS: U will ride through everything smoothly my love... don't be sad ok?

  • Sydney.. oh Sydney..

Going to leave Sydney in less than 5 hours, and in no time, i'll be back onto singapore soil once again.  Have decided to come back for good, yet my heart lingers here.  Don't get me wrong because i do love singapore, just that Sydney has become my second home.

Progressing on to a new stage of life.  After all these years of studying, i can finally step into the working world.  Well, most of my friends have already started working donkey years ago lah, anyway, i hope everything will start to go smoothly for me from now it, be it work, friendship or relationship, gambatte joyce!

It was really tiring having to pack 3 years worth of junk lah.  And me, being the classic karang guni.. everything also wanna keep, rubbish also treat as treasure, but very wasted to throw away lah... it's like they all cost $$$!!!  So finally.. after 3 days of vigorous packing.. (it's really clearing the entire house lah, shit), i managed to accumulate about 5 more boxes of stuff that i would not be able to bring back to singapore with me.  That, i got to wait till my parents come next year, and then, i will have to repack again, to see what i wanna throw, and what i wanna keep.  (SO WHAT's THE POINT OF KEEPING SO MUCH JUNK NOW????)  Haha, i dunno also lo..

I'm going to miss all my friends here............................................... SOBX
Been having alot of farewell gathering these few days..
Last night i came back at about 4am, technically watching soccer with bby with a bunch of other friends, but actually chit-chatting with another friend while bby watch his own soccer.  Since i'm ranked lower than Liverpool when Liverpool is playing...
And then after that, we smoked Shisha!!  First time experience. Strawberry, mint and lemon flavor i think, and it actually tasted nice.  It's kinda like a social thing where we passed the pipe around while chit-chatting.  It looks something like this.

Oh.. yesterday after dinner, we had a drive and guess what we chanced upon?  *jang jang* This is a house people live in.. and they actually did all these decorations!! Super cool.  It's like a mini theme park la!

  • Congratulations to ME!!

    Princess Joyce has graduated!!!

    Hurray~!~

  • Celebrating Catt's and Stephanie's B'day

Went down shopping in the city where R got another longchamp bag.. then headed to the karaoke where we sang some challenging songs like 领悟 and 心不了情.. hahaha.. under the influence of Aska from 星光幫.. GAWD... his voice gives ppl the goosebumps and when he sang stephanie sun's 雨天, you just feel like crying lah.  He is that good.  One of the judges said that he is the type of singer, that when he does cover versions of popular songs, the songs immediately becomes his song, because he is that good!  Anyway, after that, we had our dinner at Chu Mama's Vegetarian restaurant when it's the first time i didn't know what i was eating.  It just tasted the same after a while.. but it was a good experience though (if u're wondering why we chose a vegetarian restaurant, that's because C is vegetarian)..  Dessert later at Lindt Cafe.. Yummy Hot Milk Chocolate... Thumbs up!
