  • Time for some photos!

    Met my cousin for dinner on wednesday.  It was great seeing her after so long cause she's just one crazy girl.  Had Vietnamese for dinner and headed to passion flower for dessert. 
    The new flavours are fab.  Sticky rice ice cream flavour and taro! Yumx.. Plus Red Bean coconut drink which didn't taste really nice.

  • The next 3 days determines the rest of my life...

    It's exhausting to cramp 1 semester's work of stuff into my brain in a week.. i feel like a walking zombie everyday, except i still sleep.  Auditing is really getting on my nerves and the failure rate for this subject is exceptionally high.  Fortunately, i have a great aunty who's cooking all our meals and at least for once, i get to eat home-cooked food and not instant quick food during exam time. 

    Pray that i can get through this... and pray that my brain would not die on me... Amen...

    I'm pretty sure it's your birthday today right?  Unless my memory is failing me so badly that i can't even remember my coux's b'day.

  • My decision

    I.. have decided to return to Singapore for good after my exams in December.  Forgoing my PR and my freedom.  Well, the good thing is, i got an internship at Deloitte and will start in December.  Internship after i graduate? Weird huh? Lol* Anyway, home sweet home.. looking forward to seeing EVERYBODY!!! I miss all of you!!  On the brighter side, at least i dun need to worry about paying rent and bills every month.  Awww.. i'm going to miss Sydney... sobx

  • Give me a sign

    With less than 2 weeks to the end of my studies, i feel kinda lost yet happy at the same time since i really hate studying.  It will be all good if i could go to school everyday just to play and socialize.  Anyway, have been troubled with a problem recently and i need a SIGN badly.. .. ..

    Give me some time and i will do a proper update.

    Been busy the past few weeks due to assignments and mid-terms.. have one more essay due before the real exams come.  Still can't believe i'm in my last semester taking my last exams soon.. gawd.. it kinda feels weird, and i kinda feel lost.  Just a while ago my mom called and asked my why i wanted to apply for the asian internship when i can go out to look for a job already?  Well, you know such things, everything can be an opportunity right?  And i don't even know if they want me for the internship to begin with, i will get an answer really soon at the end of october, so i'm crossing my fingers.  Anyway, R took her IELTS this morning, this post goes out to you, good luck ok!

    It's Granny Smith Festival today! Granny Smith is an apple in sydney, don't know why they have this festival but we went to check it out though.  Many stalls aligned along the streets at Eastwood selling all sorts of stuff like plush toys, beddings, jewellery to fairy floss and shaved ice.  And we had dim sum for lunch, yum!! Super long time never eat dim sum liao.  Then had to work at night at Sambal... What has Andrew been depriving me of man!!! He should have put me at night long time ago, the tips were fantastic,slow paced and relaxed.. unlike in the afternoons, where u work like shit and get peanut tips. F***.. Anyway, i brought ang ku kueh and orr kuey back, but the ang ku kueh is not very nice, cause the mung bean filling is not sweet enough.. *disappointed* 1 box 4 small ang ku kueh $5 lah.. and it's already staff discount.. how i miss singapore.. Then there was this customer whom i served, when he finished paying the bill and was about to leave, he walked up to me and said, "this is for you dear", and he handed me $5.. and of course i refused, cause i can't accept 'personal' tips right.. hahahaha.. so i told him we have to share the tips with the other staff and he was like okay sure.. no problem.. Awww.. it's so satisfying when customers appreciate you.. i especially hate those who keep asking you to get this, get that for them.. they should just say one whole shot lah!!

  • Scrumptious Dinner at Aunty Irene's

    Home-cooked food tastes the best, especially when it's cooked by a mommy!
    We were invited over to Aunty Irene's place for dinner last night and we had hell of a great time.  Eating, chatting and playing with Noah, Aunty Irene's grandson.  Really really cute!! and smart too, his vocab is remarkable at age 2.  Hmm.. what was i doing when i was 2 years old? ... ... ...


    Simple home-cooked fare, but really nice~

    So young already got his own style.  Dun wanna smile even when i asked him to.

    He was really fascinated by the digital camera and he even asked me why mine didn't had a pinhole.  And then when i kept my camera, he ran over to me and said, "Jie jie, may i borrow your camera please".  OMG~!~, his parents did a great job educating him man.  Haha.  BTW, i just bought that purple lacoste bag behind, new summer collection, really nice!! i love it~
