Counting down.. one more day to Ethics Paper, and two more days to Strategic Management Paper.  TORTUROUS!! Let’s get it over and done with man.  I started my revision really late this time.  I officially went on study leave only last Thursday, but i felt that i have been overloading my brain with heaps of information for the past 4 days.  Feels like i finished studying, but don’t know whether i’m absorbing the right stuff or not.  Aiyah don’t care, this time i even tagged my pages ok.  Like 100% more effort than before.  Other than that, i also re-arranged my SAT answers in a orderly manner so that i can find the answers quickly.  Let’s see.. What have i been doing other than studying..

As i mentioned in my previous entry, Hubby forced me to watch Paranomal Activity 3 with him on Friday.  It was a midnight show, so it was 2am when i reached home.  Next morning Sat mom bought Kway tiao soup for me for breakfast.  After eating, i went back to studying.. Then about 3pm Hubby came over with alot of things – planning to work, but he ended up decorating Karn’s B’day card -> will post a pic of it once i include my input.  Then 4pm he went for RT while i continued studying.  Hehe.. half study half youtube lah.  Cannot fully concentrate now, think the mind is lazy and i obviously have a short attention span.  But nonetheless.. quality studying more important right.  Hubby came back at about 7pm then we headed out for our anniversary dinner at AYAM PANYAT RIA – Lucky Plaza.  Let’s see.. count count.. 5 years 8 months anniversary ok.  Way to go, he cheated me when i was 21 and i took his youth away when he was 26.  The indo food was good, recommended by Erwin.  After dinner we decided to take a walk at Tangs basement.  Yay -> looking at pots and pans.  We were amazed at how expensive these items can be.  Hubby started off with, “Baby, we need to put aside 2k for these in future.”  After walking around he said, “Baby, i think 2k not enough, we need to keep aside 4k.”  LOL.  I’ve thought about it, i am going to write a list ofso all you friends can buy for us~ GOOD IDEA???

Sunday -> Went out with the JC girls.  Then came home, wanted to zzz then study but no time already, so just continued study full force.  Mom and Dad went for dinner w/o me at Bishan, and dabao-ed Omu Rice for me for dinner.  Nee came back at about 9 plus and we watched Hell’s Kitchen together while eating.  Her community trip to Chiangmai was to take care of the elephants.  Clean their shit, scrub their back, feed them, play with them and possibly dhat dhat them to zzz.  Haha..  Sounds fun but i’m sure it’s quite dirty.

Continued studying again at 10pm.. and this time i actually continued all the way to about 3am.  Impressive i must say.  Hubby was busy eating steamboat and playing LAN.  Disgusting.  Slept at about 4+ watching 2pm Wild Bunny which was very entertaining. Then i had to wake up at 9am to authorize Amanda’s Ah Mei concert tix.  I’m such a nice friend.  WHO WILL FORSAKE THEIR SLEEP TO DO SUCH A GOOD DEED?? WHO WHO WHO?? Then went down with Mama for breakfast and ate my all time favourite Kway Tiao Soup at the Chong Boon Market.  It’s fantastic la, i would prob. rank it #1 on my breakfast list.  Cheap and delicious, only $2.50.

And then i did another good deed for my friend – MISS KARN.  I FOUND HER discontinued LANCOME lipstick can – L Absolu Rouge #193!! I’m a genius.  I practicalled called the entire Singapore and I even msg Kor Kor to help me check if they have stock in Indo, i mean seriously, i tried my very best lah.  Haha.. finally God shone some light~ THEY HAVE IT AT CITY PLAZA.  OMG.. 感动！！  Going to collect it on Thursday when i go ktv-ing with JY -> haha.. i forced her to take leave just to play with me.  *Evil Grinx*

All right im done ranting.  I need a nap now cause i only slept.. 5 hours last night?

It’s always good to meet up with the girls.  We always have ENDLESS things to talk about and it’s always a laughing session with them.  A pity YH and CY couldn’t make it today, cause they are sick, i hope they get well soon! And YH, i hope you get the call from MT soon too!!   It’s amazing to see how much we have grown since JC, i guess the main takeaway today is that friends do not judge each other, which is true in our friendship because we support and encourage each other throughout the years.  I’m really thankful to have friends like them and i look forward to the many years of friendship to come!  Love you guys!

Back to ethics, going to take a break from strategic management for a while.  Can’t wait for the exams to be over and i’m FREE!! yoohoo~!~

Hoho.. too much studying has got me wild on thoughts again.  I just received CY’s card for Karni’s birthday and we kinda talked a little on whatsapp.  He seems really lonely there.. and i feel sad because we’re not there for him.  Remember old times when the 4 of us just hung out together at the cottonwood house, argh.. that was fun.  It’s like coming back to a family.  Karn and her bf.. CY.. Me and hubby.. Watch TV together, play monopoly together, cook together, go grocery shopping together… I miss those times alot.  Guess it’s just not fun growing up.  That’s why i always try to make it a point to keep in contact, which explains why i am going to Bangkok next week to visit my dear old friend.  This friend i know.. if i don’t make an effort, she’s gone liao.  She’s just too cool to keep a relationship going. Haha.. but i’m never going to let her go, or let any of my close friends go, so i will make the effort, and i WILL make it work!

Hubby forced me to watch a movie with him knowing that i have EXAMS next week.  Refuses to come huggy me and force me watch horror movie.  WTF.  Hope i don’t get nightmares tonight. 

It’s just me and mom at home today.  Dad went to Beijing, Kor went to Lake Toba and Nee went Chiangmai.  I like the feeling of being at home alone in the day.  Feels like the whole house is mine. HAHAHA..

I have been saying this for years but i think i am serious this time.  My room requires some revamp so that it can become a better place for me and my cousin to live in.  My youngest cousin is currently taking the IB program and she would be studying in Singapore for at least another 1.5 years.  Her previous landlord was a pain-in-the-neck, which resulted in her moving permanently to my place since we are better people to live with obviously.. However due to the limitations of a 5 room HDB flat, she has to settle in my room on a mattress.  I feel quite bad, because after all she is a guest.. so i really want to make her stay here a more enjoyable one.  Anyway, i will get her a new bed but the problem is where can i place it in the room so that the both of us can still have our personal space?

First of all, major cleanup of the room is required.  Too much rubbish, accumulated from Deloitte and my previous house… Seems like i love to keep junk.  Floor plan required.  Measurements required.  Rearranging of wardrobe required. Desktop to be shifted to the living room.  Hubby to assist in operation!

I will start from a small corner beginning tomorrow!  This needs to be completed within 3 weeks as Nee will be back then.  Hopefully she will like the new arrangement! 

PS:  Really cant get used to this new mouse sensor area.  I still prefer IBM’s red dot mouse.

Totally couldn’t concentrate at work today.  With 2 bosses not around, i was doing my work at snail pace..

Anyway i bumped into Kelly around Tanjong Pagar Complex area today.  She was out getting her lunch whereas i was about to go back to the office.

Finally went to the gym today, after procrastinating for almost 2 weeks.  My feet actually hurts, because of my body weight i think.  Thus i’m going to start exercising again, but i’ll start slow. 

Muahahaha.. i just chased my hubby home because he smells like a dog! YES.. merciless me just told him to go home, and i didn’t even bother to send him to the door. LOL! SORRY LA, when u smell nicer u can come again.  OOPS`

YAY.. i got my netbook people!! My birthday present this year from my dearest Hubby.  The ASUS Eee PC 1015!

Chio leh!!! After the birthday lunch with Lucas and peeps at Marche, i went to meet Hubby at Sim Lim Square.  We headed to Soong Brothers and within 30 min, i got myself a new netbook.  He paid in cash 500 bucks~!~ Ok yes, i love you Hubby.  I will treasure this netbook and hopefully it can last for a while.

Hubby and i went for our first dental checkup together at the Rivervale Mall NTUC denticare on a lazy Saturday morning.  My appointment was 9am and his 9.20am.  The dentist in charge for the day is Mr Marcus Yap, riduculously quiet guy.  As you know, my aunt is a dentist so i never had to worry about my teeth since young.  She would make sure she sees me at least once every 6 months and everytime during the session, she never fails to tell me to floss and brush my teeth well, after that she would do a simple demonstration with a set of model kit and a toothbrush and highlight the important areas that needs to be emhaphasized on.  And my aunt is super chatty.  When she is scaling my teeth, she can actually ask me things and expect a reply with my mouth open so wide.  In contrast, Marcus does not talk.  After he finished my lower set, he raised the chair up and waited.  I mean obviously he wanted me to rinse my mouth.  If it was my aunt, she would say, “Ok, you can rinse now.”  So this went on for about 3 times before the end of my whole dental treatment.  And at the last round, he raised my chair up and then he proceeded to sit on a stool at a corner.. I mean.. can’t he just tell me that i’m done for the day?? faintx.  Ok la.. so i looked at him and he said, “Your teeth looks fine.  If you tooth aches again, maybe we might have to do an x-ray.” then he smiled. 

Hubby was next after me.  His took much longer.. about 25 min.. whereas mine was just 15 min. LOL* Im so happy that he agreed to go to the dentist today.  He is terrified of dentists i think* cause he has shitty teeth.  Hahaha.. Anyway, as expected, the dentist said his gums were not so healthy, and needed him to come back for a second consultation.  NO MORE SWEET STUFF until your gums is healthy again!!

Heading off to Marche later for lunch with Jing Mei, Guan Hao and Lucas.. Siyi couldn’t make it today because she is still at Krabi.  We are celebrating Lucas’s birthday today! Happy Birthday~!~! in advance. Then i’ll be heading to Sim Lim to get my long-awaited NETBOOK!!! YIPpppeEEeee~!@~!~

16 June was a suay day.  I went for lunch with Amanda, Tabitha, Peiqi, Inn and Sharon at the Yong Tau Hu place near my office.  Over-rated.. not very nice.  On my way back, i was just happily walking when i felt something slimy PIAK on my arm.  WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH super gross lah, greenish white shit smack directly at my left arm.  I was traumatized and SUPER irritated pls.  And since i was so ‘heng’.. i decided to get 4D.

Met up with the primary school clique on Friday~ 10 June 2011 – to celebrate our birthdays!! As usual.. we were ALL late.. Initially we wanted to go to the Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place, but when Cailin arrived first and went to check out that place, it had a SUPER long queue! So she headed to Ion instead.  Finally when all of us arrived, we couldn’t decide on a place to eat because almost every restaurant at Ion was packed.  And Cailin was getting really impatient, i mean, we even resorted to Burger King but our dear Yuan Man refused.  She was like, come all the way to Ion eat BK.. NO… haha.. so we ended up at this subsi of Asian Kitchen. I guess the food was ok.. not too fantastic la, but it’s the company that counts isn’t it. We chatted about our current lives, since we haven’t met Yuan Man like.. 3 years at least???  Nigo was supposed to come too.. but he was really held up at work.. next time perhaps?

After dinner we headed to Partyworld KTV.. but they couldn’t give us a room cause it was too packed.  And so we ended up at our new favourite hang-out place – Heehee.. Playnation!  Yippeee…

The best part was when we were playing the dancing game.  OMG HILARIOUS it was totally indescribable. I love my friends, they are super onx! haha.

Although it was really LAST minute, it was still really sweet to have received Kelly’s message in asking me to attend her ROM on 7 June 2011.

Her message reads, “Hello joyce my rom tmr is 1.25pm if yr office near mnd building can drop by at 1 to take a quick shot..but if you can’t then it’s also ok la.. never invite friends cos didn’t want to bother yr to take leave. haha”

PLS!!! it’s Kelly’s big day!! i wouldn’t miss it for the world.  As it was really last minute, i totally had to go get a wedding pressie for them.. so i was frantically looking for a precious thots shop after work that day and i ended up going to Bishan.  YES! the minute i went in i knew what i wanted.  The forever friends bear! And i got her a card too..

I made use of my lunch hour, rushed down to MND in a cab and was there early! Both their families were there, waiting to go into the holding room.
