It's K's 21st b'day!!! Finally, almost the last of the lot. Her birthday never fails to remind me how close i am to the final exams, but nonetheless, it was the time to celebrate this little princess's b'day.  We got her a not so perfect gift, but i'm sure she liked it anyway and changed K's party to a K's lunch.  Well figured that it's much better having a meal together, rather than having a party where we would have to clean up later. So we headed to a Jap restaurant around chinatown area for jap food and dessert at Passionflower after. The atmosphere is a little different today, 'cause we're missing Rm and C, but it was all right, we had Rc instead this time. 
I always have this perception that birthdays are one of the most important events one should have, it's the day that we are brought into this world, and it's the day where people have an excuse to give others a present. But as we grow older, this day tends to lose its meaning. People start to feel that it's not such a big deal whether to celebrate it or not, after all, it's just another 'day'. So guyz!!! DO NOT THINK THIS WAY! Indulge on your birthday, because this is your RIGHT! lol*  So, feel free to announce to the world your birthday ya? Ok, i'm starting to crap here already.

Wednesday, fairly cloudy, probably going to rain in the afternoon later.  Me, lying in bed updating my blog. Bby, beside me, playing his marapets. His computer just suddenly couldn't start up after a power failure last saturday. Since then, he was using my computer which explains why i wasn't online for quite some time.  It was a terrible time for him because he was so dependent on it. The thought of having no computer just makes him crumble.  Therefore, we decided to search for alternatives. So happen we have this rental laptop service in school which was actively running.. erm.. i think last year, but when i went to check it out on monday, it mysteriously closed down, and it seemed like it was no longer in business for quite some time.  So.. option 1 was out. Next option, send the laptop for service. So he called the service centre, which was located in Melboune, what they did was they offered him online help and step by step instructions on how to repair his computer.  Which was good of course, because we really didn't want to send the computer to Melbourne as it would probably take some time before it comes back.  Finally yesterday, he reformatted his computer with K's pirated XP cds and now it's up and working again. Good for him, and good for me.

Have been spending long hours in school these 2 days working out my portfolio project. Well, it's almost done, except for the report part. Feels like there's so many things to do, but so little time. With exams on the way, there are still tests and assignments going on!! WHY IS THAT!
How do they expect people to start revising on their work then. At least give us some free weeks for us to start ma.. ChEy~!~

I never fail to have butterflies in my stomach whenever i am about to do my presentation.  The thing is, you can never concentrate properly on any other things until you are done with the presentation. Normally they way the tut works is such that the teacher discusses about the tut answers for that week, and in between, he would call out the speakers to present their work.  But today, the format was a little different, he decided to finish off all the presentations allocated for the week before starting on the tut discussions.  Including me, there were 3 of us down for presentation, and so he goes, so which one of you wants to get the ball rolling? Before i could volunteer myself, he conveniently called out Melinda, one of the 3 of us.  So yadada she goes, talking about the topic i was planning to present to the class.  Clap, clap, clap, so who's next. This time, i quickly raised my hand but the other girl, Misun, beat me to it. She was already on her way to the whiteboard. *doh* I was thinking, "oh man~!~ KILL ME! Let me get this over and done with PLEASE!" While she was presenting, i can feel my hands shaking a little, don't get me wrong, i'm not terrified with presentations, it's just that it kills me just waiting. Finally my turn, and i was pretty sure i got through it well enough, and clear enough for the entire class. But the thing with my tutor is, he praises everybody, whether good or bad, so hopefully i do get a good mark for this.

I did it! I've finished Prison Break Season 1, and am up to the most current episode in Season 2. All those staying up was worth it.  Homeworks and assignments just had to be put on halt, well, it's addictive how tv serials can be. Like pringles, "Once you Pop, you can't Stop!"  Can't wait for the next episode to come out though, and btw, wentworth miller is sooo charming! Especially the eyes, gawd, why doesn't my baby look like that man. Haha, just kidding ar bby~

The weather in Sydney is erratic! Guess how hot was it today? Scorching 36 degrees man, it was f*rking hot for gawd's sake. Flies are everywhere, and they are simply disgusting. The sound of their wings flapping is so disturbing i wished i could just cut them off so that they can't fly no more and die eventually. Even better, hit them with a fly squatter -- instant death. MUAHAHAHAHA~ Yes, i do not have compassion for these insects although they have done nothing to me.  Let's just hope there's no such thing as reincarnation and retribution, or else i bet i'll be one of those insects i killed in my next life. 

It's saturday again.  Which means one more day nearer to the exams = 4 more weeks to exams = thailand trip = BACK TO SG! YiPpEE~!~ Can't wait to escape the weather here, not like as if the weather in sg would be any better but at least there is AIRCON to start with there!!! And no irritating flies of course. Thinking of doing an summer exchange programme next July break, exchange to copenhagen business school in denmark.  Really wanna go somewhere before i graduate if i have the chance. Talked to mom about it and she told me to work out the figures.  So it all boils down to me, whether i want it or not. Should i?   ... ... ...

Yes, CY! I am hooked onto Prison Break!!!  Uuuuuuuuu, and this is all your fault, in the good way of course. The suspense is killing me, thanks to the slow downloads. Want to read the synopsis but it will be a total spoiler for me. And the strange thing is, seems like people around me are watching the show as well. It's weird when L* asked me during lecture today if i watched prison break, i was like, Yeh! you too? And she's like, the show is super nice!! Imagine this coming out from somebody who doesn't watch english shows.. but she's only at episode 2. See, the truth is, the first episode has already got me hooked onto it. Sentiments alike? And the good thing is, her friend has the entire first season and she's asking her to burn them out. YiPpEe~!~, but she can only get it this wednesday -- TOO SLOW! i want it this instant!!!!  Anyway, like what the name suggests, this series is about how this guy, michael, deliberately gets himself sent into prison, to rescue his only brother, Lincoln, from death for a crime he has never committed due to some political conspiracy. He is an engineer, particular one who so happens to also design this prison and has the entire blueprint of it tattooed onto his body. How is he going to succeed? Who are the people who's going to assist him in breaking out successfully? Ally or enemy, who to trust? And who the hell is behind the big picture? Why did Lincoln become the scapegoat? Who made up all the evidences? Question marks everywhere ??????

Digressing from Prison Break, i think i might have a slight problem. I don't think i will label it as a disorder yet. The thing is, i keep feeling that my hands are dirty and i need to wash them. I asked C about it, because he has a bigger problem than me, and he says i've got to try to contain it before it gets worse. I remember having a friend who has this problem as well, and indeed, she really washes her hands all the time. *cross fingers*, i've got to overcome this! Should not let it get to me.

今天是农历八月十五,在此要祝大家中秋节快乐!
可怜的我,一个月饼都没吃到... 没有啦, 不应该把自己说得那么可怜, 就单纯的没有很想吃啦.. 何况澳洲也没有中秋节的气氛. 刚刚收到哥哥的简讯, 听说今天牛车水那一带会很热闹, 好想念新加坡哦! 哥哥就问我今天有否庆祝中秋节, 我就跟他说.. 没有啦.. 他竟然还揣我一脚说.. 不要紧啦.. 我在新加坡帮你吃! 好可恶!!
月饼就没吃到.. 可新加坡的食物就吃得不少.. 刚刚到K做工的地方吃晚餐.. 叫了Sambal Kang Kong, Assam Fishhead & Beef Rendang, plus chicken rice and nasi lemak rice. As for dessert, we ordered Chendol~ Yum!! 很好吃!! 但真的有点贵.. 总共吃了有六十多块, 但却很satisfying. All right, pardon my chinese, i am trying my best to type all these chinese characters out OK!
不知在新加坡的朋友们这个时刻在做什么.. 有没有提着灯笼,一边吃着月饼, 一边赏月呢? *神经病.. 什么年代了??, 还赏月耶!* 如果有,要告诉哦! 哈哈.. .. ..

One down, one more to go~ Yippee, just had my acst test earlier on, pretty confident about it because we were allowed to bring one piece of a4 size paper in, so being the kiasu me, i squeezed whatever there was in the lecture and tutorial notes onto the paper, and true enough, whatever i copied came out!  Hopefully the results would not disappoint me. Accg 253 is terror!!! I'm totally freaked out by this subject. I was talking to a few people who took this subject before, they had the same sentiments as me, not knowing what was the lecturer talking about and not knowing how to do the tut questions, but they all reassured me the final exam is not that hard.. oMg~..  So wish me luck, and hopefully i can get through this with a pass.

K's bf just bought Xbox 3 today~ Looks really nice! Very posh looking because it's white based with those metallic buttons, and the console works on infrared, so there's no wires all over the place, unlike the playstation ones. $500+ and can only play original games. If u ask me.. it's a total waste of money for me and i wouldn't invest in such things. Then again, it's better for guyz to be addicted to games than spending their time partying outside right? What more can we girls ask? Guyz play to much, we complain. So i've decided, i should learn how to tolerate more next time. K already gave up. I asked her, "So, what do you think?" Then she replied, "There's really no difference with him playing the comp or the xbox right? Can't expect too much anymore." LOL* GAWD. BBY, u better not be like that ar! OR ELSE... &$!@&*$^@*&!^$*&#

Everytime i take out my contact lens,  the first thing i want to do is rest on my bed. I never use to have this problem ever since i started wearing them when i was secondary three.   Recently i just prefer to wear spectacles  because it doesn't dry up my eyes as much as the contact lens do.  Went for a haircut earlier, put on my contact lens because it's rather scary not knowing what the hairdresser is doing to your hair if i was wearing spectacles, and for just one hour of wearing it, the weariness sets in.

Pretty much the same hairstyle, just that i asked the hairdresser to change my parting. Rather boring having the same parting for *uncountable* years, nor do i want it to become a dead parting.  Shorter now, got her to trim all the damaged hair and most of my coloured hair. So want to go back to my original hair colour now. Ironic isn't it. Before when i wanted to dye  it so badly, my mother didn't allow, now when i have the freedom to do anything to my hair, i just want to be plain jane again.

Two tests coming up next week.. one on wednesday, the other on a saturday. Not exactly prepared for it, in fact, i just can't put my heart into studying for it. Many distractions around. But hopefully i will do something about it soon. Yucks, it's disgusting 2 weeks of hols end so quickly. Ooh, and bloody hell, the final year exam timetable is out!! Sickening!  I start on the 15th and end on the 23rd. About one week *gao dim*.

A while ago, i happened to brush across my cousi's msn nick and saw her blog http written on it. But when i wanted to input the address into the browser of my internet explorer, she changed her nick! Damn* So being the kpo me,  i began to search on google. Wow, there are so many matches i tell you, but i was amazed how well the search machine filters stuff out. Unfortunately not good enough to source out my cousin's website. Probably due to the lack of keywords, but then when i started to type in more stuff, i actually found my other cousin's blog. Haha..~ Now i know how people find my blog so easily. Next time i should not put any of my personal particulars so that others can't track me down so easily.

Can't stand the trial period of xanga premium. Want to revert back to my classic xanga but i can't seem to find the options to do it. Somebody help!!! It's a 21 day trial period, so according to them, it would go back to normal effectively after another 19 more days.

Those who have known me long enough would know that i have this dirty old smelly dwarf i carry around everywhere with me. Even now, 'he' is right beside me in Sydney. Well, the truth is, i only shower him once a year, *sounds pretty gross right*, but u know, it has my unique smell, and i like it! Since i am having my holidays now, i decided to give him a shower again, and guess what?
