Almost missed the sunrise today. Thought i could hold on all the way throughout the night but i ended up falling asleep at 2am. Lucky thing was i set my alarm!! Heehee, so although it was just a short 2 hour nap, we were relished for the event. The initial plan was to sight it at Manly beach, but we kinda missed a turning and headed to Bondi instead. Haha, it's still a beach lah~ So ok. So we arrived at about 5am, scurrying to the beach in search for the best view.  Here it is, i'll let the pictures do the talking.

On a lighter note, i declare Bondi Beach - Fly Land. It's not even summer yet and all the flies are out to play! 6am in the morning!!! PS: Flies are attracted to dark colours.

Sudden crave for Ramlee Burgers. Not as if i am a big fan of it, but thinking of the bustling pasar malams, the yummy beef patties, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, onions... makes me want it so badly. Heading off to woolies soon, going to get all the ingredients to whip up my burger.

My gym subscription ended last week. Was contemplating whether to renew it or not. Eventually, I decided to go ahead with the 10-pass-visit for $60 - if not it's $8.50 per entry to the gym, so that i can continue with my yoga lessons with Catt every week. Was so enthusiastic about Steps today, forced myself to wake up at 11.30am, called CY to confirm if he was on for it, alas he wore his damn sandles to the gym. Excuse me, but has he heard about wearing the proper attire for the right occasion. A kid probably knows you've got to wear shoes to a gym man.. so i ended up working out on the treadmill instead, while he sat down at one corner gazing at the Steps class. 

Granny's in the hospital again.. she got admitted last sunday due to difficulty in breathing and coughing. I knew something was wrong when i called back last week. I spoke to her on the phone, and for the entire 10 min, the only thing she said was hello and for the rest of the conversation, she was coughing so badly that she kept pressing the key pads on the phone. Please pray that Ah Ma will be all right and hopefully she can be discharged from the hospital really soon. 

Planning on waiting for the sunrise at Manly Beach today. Anniversary mah, so must do something romantic, besides, i haven't exactly seen a proper sunrise before. Can't wait, gonna snap loads of pictures so i can upload it. *cross fingers* Hopefully i wouldn't lose my way today. 

Due to some unforseen circumstances, joy-nanami has to shift.  Great! After 3 whole years, i've returned to using xanga. Wasn't too fond of this blog site in the beginning because i find it rather complicated, but after using other blogger sites, they kinda all boil down to the same thing.  Still trying to figure how to get rid of the ads at the top, anyway, setting up a new blog is a chore, so, hopefully this is the last time i have to do it.

Just received Mag's call earlier this afternoon, and she might be coming over to Syd next month! Yippee, can get to see her again. That's the advantage of being an air stewardess, you get to fly all over the world, and you still get paid for doing that. Besides their basic salary, they have allowances for shoes and make-up, and whenever they arrive at a destination, they get extra money to spend!  Futhermore, they get discount tix when they fly on their own. Thumbs up!

Can't believe my first week of holidays is ending so quickly. Haven't exactly done anything productive at all. Does playing games and going out count? Self-proclaimed slacker - Today's routine - wake up about noon - lunch at macD - start playing virtual villages, The Sims - walk around the house - catered food comes - dinner - continue my game - shower - game - still game - Mom called, talked less than 5 min - surf - Zzz. Maybe i'll start doing something tomorrow lah, erm hang on a sec, have to go down to granville to get the car, and to chatswood to return the rental dvds, errr.. prepare for canbarra trip... Uhm.. According to the dictionary, a holiday is a period of time during which you relax and enjoy yourself away from home. Yes i'm relaxing, yes i'm enjoying, and yes i'm away from home, so = i'm having my holidays now!
