o-kay, this is way past my bed time, but i just had to pen down my first day at the law firm today.  The office is right smacked in chinatown and eating certainly did not seem a problem.  The office, though not very elaborate, was overlooking the sydney harbour.  Merely a small space just enough for 2 people, the boss and me.  Just for u to imagine how big the office is.  Anyway, everything i learned today had nothing to do with accounting whatsoever, everything is really LaW.  Did Property Contract today. Gawd.. so many things to remember, depending whether it's a sale or a purchase.  Cooling off period lah.. then stamp duty.. got to fill in like 4 forms and calculate how much to pay.. then request for requisition.. blah blah blah. Oh god. The worse thing is that i have to be there on my own tomorrow.. sob.. Tolong ar!!  Well, he said he is going to bring me out to do settlement tomorrow. Hope it's fun!!

Should i? Since i am currently jobless.. R called me earlier this afternoon asking me if i wanna work in the law firm she is working in right now.  She said they currently need people but FOC lah.  "Internship" = experience.. but ah_joy needs money~!~ Bby says just try for a week lor, see if i learn anything new not.  Why not right? ah_joy just hopes U.W will be gracious enough, *cross my fingers*

1. Joyce is fat - she eats less than 3 servings of vegetables in a week and has alot of maggi mee ever since she came back to sydney.
2. Joyce is lazy - she sleeps more than 12 hours a day and still complains it's not enough.  But joyce is trying hard to sleep early and wake up early now.
3. Joyce is dumb - joyce went to school twice in a row wanting to d/l stuff in school, but she ended up with nothing. Joyce wasted hours in sch period
4. Joyce is studious - joyce tries to do her tutorial and revision early because she wants to get good results this sem.
5. Joyce loves playing ps2 - joyce spends her time playing naruto, and dumb jap games.
6. Joyce loves talking on the phone and snail mail - but she's lazy to do both, which brings us back to point number 2.
7. Joyce loves socializing - that's why joyce have good close friends around her that cheers her up all the time. thanks guyz.
8. Joyce loves family - joyce wishes all her family members good health and happiness.
9. Joyce is looking for a job - an accg job so she can have hand-on experience with.
10. Joyce loves her hubby - he's her one and only.

I am experience HIGH speed downloads now! Bleach PS2 game - 1gb - 1 hour~!~ PB - 300+mb - 15min!! YIPPEEEEeeeee, for once, i love coming to school~ HAHAHAHA

My internet is slow. One page takes about 10 years to load. and believe me, i'm already on the fastest plan my service provider has. However, due to excessive downloads the past 2 weeks, i have suffered the consequences of having my speed limited because i have exceeded the quota. 20gb peak + 40 gb off-peak. And i've gotta wait till 13 March before i can get my speed back. HeLp~!~

Have been crazy over playstation these days. Will pull up my socks soon and get back to my books.  Miss everybody!!! Miss me too ok?

Went for my first lecture today: Corporate Accounting and Reporting -> ~BoRiNg~ Lectures have this natural tendency of making me yawn, when it's actually my one and only class today.  I swore i had enough sleep last night. OK. It's just me.  The weather these days have been really depressing for classes, but it's really good for sleeping!!! Like yesterday, i woke up at 2pm. I swear, i can just sleep the whole day! And also, i don't think i can ever sleep with anybody, because i have a grinding teeth problem, and it's really serious. Aunt G tells me i can't control it, neither can i stop myself from grinding, because it's involuntary. And normally it's due to factors such as stress whatsoever.  BUT... i don't find myself stressed!?!

Freakin hot today!!!! Met up with a secondary school friend who came over from melbourne earlier this afternoon, in fact, i haven't seen her in 4 years.  It's weird sometimes, you don't see people when you are in singapore, but you see people whom you don't expect to see when you are away from singapore.  Anyway, she criticized sydney's transportation system - in comparison with melbourne's.. but i think it's okay, probably because i have been living here for 2 years, so i've probly gotten used to it.  We went for passion flower and i finally tried the food at mama's kitchen. Okay lah.. cause k recommended it to me. 

Lunar New Year's Eve, everybody should be having their reunion dinner now.  Away from home the first time this Chinese New Year, i had steamboat with a few friends, accompanied with "Mean Girls" on tv.  It's kinda weird not having those Lion Dance programmes or Chinese Movie by Zhou Xing Chi on tv and believe me, Chinese New Year is like any other single day in Sydney. There is no festive mood, nothing! I miss home already... ... Not so much for the "hong baos" really, but it's the gathering that makes the entire reunion dinner special.  However, i realized as i get older, it really doesn't matter whether or not i celebrate cny or not, because families can gather any other day, doesn't have to be a special occasion.  Anywayx, Happy Lunar Chinese New Year to everybody out there, and may the pig year continue to prosper everybody.

All right, going to try out this church tomorrow, called the Sydney Bible Presbyterian.  Hopefully this is the right one for me. *Cross my fingers*
